Stamped Metal Jewellery
An Overview
Stamped metal jewellery has been a strong trend for several years now with no sign of disappearing just yet. I believe the continued popularity of this form of keepsake jewellery is often due to the sentimentality attached to the piece or its ability to make a statement about absolutely anything. Words are powerful things!
When you think of stamped metal jewellery, your mind might immediately spring to "mummy jewellery" as this is one of the most common forms of it around as is evidenced by the plethora of suppliers that abound on the Internet, however, it is much more versatile than that. It can be used for a myriad of occasions such as weddings, anniversaries, birthdays, graduations, inspiration, motivation and lifestyle choices. I'm sure I have left several possible categories out of that list! It comes in many forms and is often not quite jewellery in the usual form that we see it, eg. pendants. bracelets and earrings, but in the form of keyrings, credit card style notes and bookmarks. There are just so many different ways that it can be incorporated into an item.
Of course, due to the personalised nature of stamped jewellery, it makes ideal personalised gifts as the items can be customised as needed.
There are also so many variables that can come into play like the metal and font used, the shape of the item, the nature of the items and so on. If you can imagine it, someone out there should be able to make it for you!
